Four Ways To Celebrate The Important People In Our Lives

Nowadays, our society is consumed so much by what we have to do that we have forgotten what is really important. For me, more than anything else, connection and relationships are of the utmost importance and need to be prioritized. Family and friends are definitely a huge priority in my life and when someone that I know deserves to be celebrated, we celebrate and make them feel extra important.

I urge you to do the same - make the important people in your life feel special and celebrated. If you have a family member who has achieved something important, a celebration can be as simple as going out to dinner, or you can go bigger with it, if you’d like. Both personal and professional successes alike are definitely worth celebrating and at the end of the day, a celebration just connects you more with the ones you love and that is what matters the most.

Here are a few ways to celebrate the important people in your life when they achieve something great (or just because):

 A Big Party

Everyone loves a good party, right? I think so, at least. Celebrate that someone special by planning a party. If it is a surprise party, even better! The great thing about parties is that it brings people together and allows for even more great connections to form and grow. When you plan a party, do not worry about making it fancy - just worry about what the person likes. Include their favorite people, their favorite food, and maybe their favorite music, too. That’s all you really need in order to have a good time and make someone feel special.

 A Trip

One of my favorite big ways to celebrate someone is by planning a trip. Now, this is definitely not a great option for a coworker or your everyday friend, but if you are celebrating a spouse, a really close family member, or someone else that deserves something huge like a trip, go for it! Remember, though - you are planning this trip for them, not for you. Ask yourself questions when planning it to make sure that you are focusing on them and what they would want.

 Brag

Now, I know that this seems odd, but hear me out: brag about their success! Tell someone, or several people about their awesome success. Everyone says that they do not like the attention, but most people really do, so just go for it. You could send out an email blast, post on Facebook, or send out a group text message. Alternatively, if you could do something in person, that’s great too!! Hopefully this will lead to that special person in your life to feel so loved and celebrated.

 A Special Gift

A long-lasting, special gift is a great way to celebrate a loved ones big accomplishment! But sometimes, it’s hard to think about what to get someone. How about a beautiful piece of art, or a custom plaque that they display in their home to reminisce on their accomplishments? A plaque, made completely in-house at East Point Foundry is a great addition to a home or office space, in order to remember said accomplishment forever. East Point Foundry hand crafts rich, high-quality cast bronze and aluminum plaques for building signs, corporate facilities, donor recognition and memorials for schools, churches, and private organizations. Each plaque is custom made, so you have the option to choose details such as borders (no border, single line, double line, bevel), textures (leatherette, pebble), size (large, small, round, rectangle, custom), and even the art and layout. Whatever you choose, you will know that East Point Foundry will pay attention to the small details, in order to make your special piece 100% perfect and custom made specifically for you. Located in Atlanta, Georgia since 1948, East Point Foundry focuses on exemplary service in mankind and a commitment to excellence.
